Historic Home Tour

Our successful Historic Homes Tour from 2017 is back this year and features 7 historic homes, plus the Waterville United Methodist Church. The tour is a fund-raising event to support the education, renovations, and preservation work of the Waterville Historical Society. The stops are as follows:

  • 1882 William Witte Carriage House

  • 1835 Abell-Krause House

  • c.1895 Buck-Monroe House

  • 1908 William Haskins House

  • 1914 Waterville United Methodist Church

  • 1912 Harold Hutchinson House

  • 1838 Robbins House

  • c.1834 Sargent House

Two free shuttle busses will be available during the day, with parking located at J & R contracting, 1300 Michigan Ave. The Waterville United Methodist Church (102 N. Fifth St.) will also be serving lunch that day from 11:00-1:00 for donation only, and as they are a stop on the tour, a perfect place to rest and rejuvenate!

In addition the AW Area Arts Commission is hosting their Art and About 2019 event that day, featuring local artists painting outside around town and a scavenger hunt in the downtown area. For more information, visit www.awaac.org.

Ticket sales will begin on April 22 at Wakeman Archival Center, Waterville Library, Waterville Hardware and here online. Ticket prices will be $20 with an additional one dollar charge for on-line tickets6
